Professional Biography
Yannick, an alumnus of the Transportation and Supply Chain at the University of Denver in 2020, is currently Vice President Legal affairs at the Port of Quebec. Prior, he was Senior Manager responsible for optimization and development of intermodal operations at CN. Before joining CN as in-house counsel to handle regulatory/commercial as well as contractual matters and litigations, Yannick was with an international law firm where his practice focused on commercial, administrative and constitutional litigation where he was involved in defending a number of class actions, including price fixation cartels. Yannick appeared before federal and provincial courts, commissions and governmental boards. From 2003 to 2010, Yannick worked in the Federal Department of Justice and represented the federal government before two Commissions of Inquiries.
From 2010 to 2011, Yannick worked in the Privy Council Office and provided legal, strategic, policy and governance advice to the Prime Minister of Canada.
