Last week our cohorts were on the University of Denver campus for Winter Residency. Cohort 21, our senior cohort, participated in the much-anticipated Senior Management: Executives and Issues Seminar, AKA the Capstone. Cohort 23 participated in Financial Analysis and Capital Structures taught by Craig Lentzsch, the Principles of Supply Chain Management taught by Jack Buffington, PhD, and Leading with Integrity and Executive Management Practices in Organizations, both taught by RJ Graham, PhD. The quarterly residencies are not just a culmination of hard work and dedication, but also a vibrant platform for learning and networking.

A special shoutout to Michelle Livingstone, TSCI faculty and board member, for leading a successful Capstone Seminar. This is Michelle’s first year teaching the Capstone and her fresh perspective and dynamic approach added a new dimension to the learning experience. The Capstone Seminar is a pivotal part of our program, in which students get the chance to hear first-hand how current industry executives are leading their companies through today’s challenges.

Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Colorado

By the end of the week, we were ready to hit the slopes in the Colorado Rocky Mountains!  What a great turn out for TSCI's first Annual Ski Trip. We were joined by students in the executive Master of Science in Transportation Management program from Cohorts 21 and 23, alumni from Cohort 20, and graduates of the Master of Science in Supply Chain Management program. We enjoyed the day at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, where new snow fall over the weekend made for prime skiing conditions. Our beginners and first-time skiers got to learn firsthand from avid Colorado skier, Kelly Vernell, while our more advanced skiers and boarders took to the lift to take advantage of the fresh powder.

Special thank you to Kelly Vernell and TSCI Alumni Ambassador, Lynn Ramsey, for planning our first annual ski trip.  And thank you to our students, alumni, and friends for making this a memorable trip.  We look forward to next year!
